Weather Announcement - Due to the threat of below freezing temperatures and standing water causing icy conditions on secondary roadways in the morning, Wayne County Public Schools will have a 2-Hour Delay, Tuesday, December 9.
Tomorrow night is the PTA Santa Shop Family Shopping Night! Come on out to shop and support our school!
From WCPS - Due to the threat of inclement weather, all WCPS School will dismiss 2-hrs early tomorrow, Monday December 8th. Please monitor local media and the district website.
Next week, our PTA will be hosting their annual Santa Shop! Students get to shop for family and friends and bring home wrapped presents to put under the tree! Santa Shop runs from Monday 12/8 - to Friday 12/12. Contact your child's teacher for their shopping day/time!
The December Creativity Challenge is here! Students who wish to participate should finish their picture and return it to Mrs. Ocker in the STEM Lab by Friday, December 12. Encourage your student to join and showcase their creativity. Thanks for your support! - Mrs. Ocker

MLE Dragon News 11/17 - 11/21
Great job to Mrs. Artis’ fourth grade class on their North Carolina Sweet Potato Projects! North Carolina is one of the nation’s top sweet potato producers, and this project celebrated our state’s history and creativity. Students chose a famous North Carolinian, dressed up a sweet potato to represent that person, and designed a matching shadow box. Their creativity and effort were outstanding—wonderful work, fourth graders! Thank you families for your continued support in our Dragons' learning!
