WSE will hold an information session for current 5th grade students and their families on Tuesday, January 27, at 6 p.m. in the Wayne School of Engineering cafeteria. As part of the information night, students and parents will learn about the school's innovative programming. Opened in 2007, WSE is an innovative school consisting of grades 6-13. Students are provided an honors curriculum with an emphasis on collaboration. In conjunction with high school courses, students are provided the opportunity to obtain a two-year associate's degree from Wayne Community College. 

Wayne School of Engineering (WSE) is proud to be one of three Special Purpose Schools offered by Wayne County Public Schools (WCPS). These schools provide students and families with unique, innovative learning opportunities. Enrollment is based on a lottery process, and students who wish to attend must complete a lottery application.
