For those who do not require an appointment, complete Form 6 "Claiming Your Monthly Retirement Benefit" from the Orbit website or available at the Central Office and submit to the WCPS Human Resources Department, Attention: Bianca Pineda. 

On Form 6, monthly retirement benefits are effective for the first day of any month. You must sign, date, and file your retirement application at least 1 day and not more than 120 days before your effective date of retirement. We encourage you to start the retirement process approximately 90-120 days prior to your effective retirement date.
