Due to the concerns of freezing rain and below-freezing temperatures overnight creating slick conditions for buses in the morning, all schools will remain CLOSED for students, Thursday, February 5. For Staff, Thursday will be an Optional Workday with a 2-hour delay. All staff that report to work should report 2-hours later than usual.

Weather Announcement - (2-Hour Delay) - Due to the threat of below freezing temperatures and standing water causing icy conditions on secondary roadways in the morning, WCPS will have a 2-Hour Delay, Tuesday, December 9. All non-essential personnel will report to work 2-Hours beyond their normal starting time and the student day will begin at individual schools 2-Hours later than normal.

Weather Announcement - Due to the threat of inclement weather forecast to arrive late tomorrow afternoon and early evening, all schools will dismiss 2-hours early, Monday, December 8. Additionally, all after school programs, school sponsored activities, and athletic practices and events have been canceled. Student and staff safety is our top priority. These actions will help ensure our campuses have been cleared and all school buses are safely off the road before any potential icy conditions occur.
