The Falcon Fever SkillsUSA club will meet in room 304 at 2:35pm right after school on Tuesday 9/9. Dues are $20 and should be paid to Mrs. Zills or Mr. Bailey by September 26th
Interested in joining DECA or already a member? You are invited to join an interest meeting to learn more about CBA DECA and upcoming events and competitions. The meeting will be held on Friday, September 12th from 8:45-9:15am in the cafeteria
Open Gym will begin today at 6:00 pm for any girls interested in playing basketball. Open Gym will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the main gym. Contact Coach Romo if you have any questions.
Go ahead and get your outfits picked out for the big day because school picture day is coming up! Make sure you mark September 16th on your calendars for our underclassman/staff picture day. Picture day order forms will be passed out in homeroom next week.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes/Aycock Christian Teens will have their first meeting on Friday (9/12) at 7:00 AM in the library. You do not have to be an athlete to be a part of our club. Anyone is welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Terrell, Mrs. McGhee, or Mrs. Pittman.
Hey Seniors! Don't miss your chance to win a custom diploma/tassel frame. Pay your senior fees by September 30th to be eligible. Winner will be announced on Friday, October 3rd.
Wayne County Public Schools will no longer excuse absences due to bus related issues. Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, these absences will be coded as unexcused. If your child is waiting for a bus assignment, please continue to check the student email for notifications. All transportation requests are processed within 48 hours but some routes are currently at capacity. As space becomes available, your child will be notified with a bus assignment.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENT DRIVERS: Starting Monday, Sept. 8 all student vehicles parked on CBA campus MUST display their parking pass. No exceptions. Student drivers must purchase a parking pass for $40 and complete the required forms. Students requesting a parking pass must currently have a drivers license. All students will park in the paved lot by the gym on a first come, first serve basis. For questions, please see Mr. Kennedy in the Media Center.

Are you interested in making a difference at CBA? Run for an office in AYC. What is AYC? Aycock Youth Council is our school student government. AYC officers represent their grade levels to help plan and make decisions about events at Aycock. Each grade level has an elected president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Are you interested in running for an office or learning more about AYC. Applications can be picked up in Ms. Frederick’s room (#113) or Ms. Simpson’s room (# 604). All completed applications are due back by Friday September 5, 2025.
REMINDER: Students are only allowed to submit drop/add requests until 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27. If request form is not submitted by that time, they will not be accepted.

* Changes will not be made to accommodate a teacher or period preference. A change could also impact other classes on your schedule.
* Only one change request form accepted per semester/ per student.
* Once a change is made, it will not be reversed.

* Please allow at least 2 days to process your request.
