CBA is now 5-0(4-0 conf., 5-0 overall) and they will travel to Wilson Fike Thurs.(weather permitting).
Fike is currently ranked #1 in 5A Men's Tennis preseason state poll while Aycock is #8.

The CBA Golden Falcon Men's Tennis team had a busy week of games and wins!!

The Men's Tennis team defeated Rocky Mt. 9-0 at home on Wednesday afternoon. That win took their record to 3-0(conf. and overall)

On Thursday, the CBA Men's Tennis team defeated a scrappy S. Nash 9-0 at the Luke Vail Tennis Courts. The Golden Falcons improve to 4-0(conf. and overall) and host non-conf. opponent, Goldsboro, next Tues.

Tomorrow, Feb. 18, CBA will be represented by two athletes at the 5A Indoor Track State Championship. William "Seth" Cowan and Alonna Frederick will both compete in the shot put event. Seth is currently ranked 3rd in the state with a throw of 54 feet and Alonna is ranked 2nd in the state with a throw of 38 feet 7 inches. Both of these marks are new school records! Congratulations and the best of luck to you both tomorrow.

A huge thank you for all those that came out last Friday night and cheered on your Golden Falcons' Basketball teams. The Girls defeated Southern Wayne 42 to 30. Alonna Frederick led all scorers with 15 points and Lauren Burton added 10 points and had 5 steals. Taleia Claude led the team with 8 steals. The Girls visit Rocky Mount tomorrow night for a chance at a Conference Championship.
