We want to make you aware of a concerning trend on TikTok where students are encouraged to insert objects like paper clips or pencil lead into Chromebook ports. This can cause serious damage to the device, risk electrical shock or fire, and result in disciplinary action. Students are expected to use school technology responsibly. Damaging a device—whether intentional or not—may also result in a repair fine of over $300. Please take a moment to talk with your child about safe and appropriate technology use. Thank you for helping us keep students safe and learning on track.
