Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be on the bathroom. Next week, we will be having a Unity Spirit Week. Monday, February 9th, our PTO will hold a meeting at 6 pm. On Tuesday, third through fifth-grade students will be taking their NC Check-ins. Please make sure that your child is at school on time. Monday, yellow day, wear yellow to symbolize awareness & respect. Tuesday, bling day, wear items that sparkle and shine, colors that pop, & a big smile. Wednesday, mismatch day, wear mismatched clothes to show how everyone is different. Thursday, Disney Day, wear items that remind you of something magical the mouse would approve of. Friday, twin day, twin with a buddy to symbolize friendship. Next week is bus driver appreciation week, if your child rides the bus, please take a minute to thank your driver for all they do to get your child to and from school safely. Tuesday, February 3rd, 3rd through 5th-grade students will be doing their math NC Check-ins. Please make sure that your child is on time. Friday, February 6th, progress report will go home. Please make sure to review the report card and make an appointment with your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns. Friday, February 6th, is also Wear Red Day. Here are next week’s updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be on the bus. Last week, we went over all expectations for the bus. We also assigned seats on buses 521/611 and 621. This week, seats will be assigned to bus 550/107. Report cards went home on Friday for Kindergarten through fourth grade students. There was a glitch with the report cards for the fifth grade students. Their report cards will go home tomorrow. If there is a question or concerns about your child’s report card, please reach out to your child’s teacher to make an appointment. Monday: Holiday Glow - Light up your outfit with lights or sparkles! Tuesday: Calling ALL Santa’s Helpers - Dress like an ELF! Wednesday: Oh Dear, Spread some CHEER - Dress like a reindeer! Thursday: Merry Whatever - Wear your most GRINCHY or GREEN attire! Friday: Polar Express Day - Wear your pajamas! Friday, December 19th, is the last day before the holiday break. Good evening Guardians, Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be the cafeteria. Please remind your child that the first ten minutes, they are supposed to eat in silence. Tomorrow will be our first day back from our Thanksgiving Break. We hope that you were able to visit family, friends and get some needed rest. Thursday, your child can wear a hat in the building if they pay $1. This is a PTO fundraiser. Friday, the PTO is having a pajama party with Santa. The activity starts at 5pm and ends at 7pm. Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be hallway. Tuesday, November 25th, Kindergarten students will be celebrating Friendsgiving in the cafeteria at 1:15. Don't forget to check the bus calendar daily. Starting tomorrow, bus 521/611 will be operating in the afternoons. Don't forget to be outside 15 minutes before the time. If you forgot the time, please be prepared to take your child to school and they can ride home tomorrow afternoon. Have your child to ask their teacher what time the bus will pick them up in the morning. Tuesday will be the last day before the Thanksgiving break. The 3rd grade CogAT testing window will open on the 17th and close on the 21st. Tuesday, November 18th, An author will visit 3rd - 5th grade students during specials. Thursday, November 20th, the WCPS Choral Showcase at Dillard Middle School Auditorium. Doors open at 5:45 and the concert will begin at 6:30. Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be the bus. Please make sure that your child knows to follow all of the bus expectations. Monday, November 10th will be Student-led conferences. The conferences will be held 5pm to 7pm. If you have not made an appointment, please reach out to your child's teacher. During the conferences, you and your child will be able to play Gaga. Tuesday, November 11th, school will be closed in honor of Veteran's Day. We would like to thank those that have served as well as those that are serving. Friday, November 14th, progress reports will go home. Please speak with your child's teacher if you have any questions about your child's grade so far. The Impact Aid Forms are due by Friday, November 14th. Good evening Northeast Guardians, Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus this week will be teacher's choice. Please review with your child the expectations for school. Monday, November 3rd, our school-store fundraiser begins. Tuesday, November 4th, third through fifth-grade students will be taking their math NC Check-ins. Wednesday, November 5th, the fifth-grade students will be going to the symphony at University of Mt. Olive. Friday, November 7th, 8:30 to 9:30 will be the Veteran Brunch. PTO is holding a hat day fundraiser. The cost to wear a hat in the building is $1. We are aware that the car rider line is long. This year we have two buses that do not run in the afternoon. Some days, we have three buses that do not run. Please be patient with us as we work on making the process more efficient. We made some changes on Friday and will keep trying until we make the process better. Don't forget to check the bus calendar daily. The bus calendar can be found on the Northeast website. Here are next week's updates and reminders. The PBIS focus will be the playground. Please talk with your child about playing safe on the playground. Don't forget to review your child's report card, the Northeast Eagle Code of Conduct Contract and the federal form. Please return all three tomorrow. If you have questions about your child's report card, please contact the teacher for a conference. Tomorrow, October 27th, the PTO will be having a trick or treat activity at the school. It has been changed from trunk or treat due to the chance of rain. It will be from 5:30 to 7:00. We will start Red Ribbon week tomorrow. Tomorrow is pledge to be drug free, wear red. Please see the entire weeks activities on Talking Points. Tuesday, October 28th will be picture retakes and Reading check-ins. Thursday, October 30th, fifth-grade students will take the science NC Check-in. Friday, October 31st, students are not permitted to wear Halloween costumes at school. Here are next week's reminders and updates. Tomorrow, October 20th is a teacher workday. Tuesday, October 21st, all reading retained students will take the Fall RTA assessment. There will be a PTO fundraiser at the HWY 55 on Wayne Memorial Drive starting at 5. Our PTO will be there until 10. Please come out and support the Northeast PTO. Friday, October 24th, report cards will go home. Review the report card and reach out to make an appointment with your child's teacher if you have any questions. The cafeteria rules are the first 10 minutes, the students can not talk. The students must only talk to their table. Friday, October 17th, is the last day of the grading period. 1st Grade Family Engagement - will be 12:00-1:00. First-grade parents, come join in the fun with the Pumpkin Book Character Walk Parade. Classrooms must be able to focus without interruptions. Tomorrow is the last day for our first fundraiser of the year. Thursday, October 9th, our Kindergarteners will have a dental screening. Friday, October 10th, local fire departments will come to the school to discuss fire prevention. Don't forget to check the bus calendar daily to ensure that your child's bus is operating.
