Are you interested in making a difference at CBA? Run for an office in AYC. What is AYC? Aycock Youth Council is our school student government. AYC officers represent their grade levels to help plan and make decisions about events at Aycock. Each grade level has an elected president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Are you interested in running for an office or learning more about AYC. Applications can be picked up in Ms. Frederick’s room (#113) or Ms. Simpson’s room (# 604). All completed applications are due back by Friday September 5, 2025.

REMINDER: Students are only allowed to submit drop/add requests until 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27. If request form is not submitted by that time, they will not be accepted.

* Changes will not be made to accommodate a teacher or period preference. A change could also impact other classes on your schedule.
* Only one change request form accepted per semester/ per student.
* Once a change is made, it will not be reversed.
* Forms available from your HR teacher or outside of the counseling office.
* Please allow at least 2 days to process your request.

All student drivers can drive to school the first several days of school without needing a parking pass. Student drivers must purchase a parking pass for $40 and complete the required forms in order to get a parking pass as soon as possible. Students requesting a parking pass must currently have a drivers license. All students will park in the paved lot by the gym on a first come, first serve basis.

There will be a meeting of the Golden Falcon Booster Club on Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00pm in the cafeteria. We have a lot going on and need your help! Come learn what’s happening at CBA!

YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED!! Mrs. Terrell will have a yearbook pickup table in the front of the school any day this week from 11 am - 1 pm. If you didn’t order yearbook, bring $65 cash to purchase one of your own!

Congratulations to Senior McKaylie Nixon on receiving The Nolan Sanders Foundation Scholarship award. McKaylie will be attending the University of Chapel Hill in the fall to pursue a neurosurgeon degree. Your CBA Falcon Family wishes you the very best and knows you will soar!

Bus 618 will not run its morning or afternoon route for Friday, June 6th. If you have a student who needs transportation to take a test Friday, please call Ms. Watson at 242-3400 and we will try to make arrangements.
Testing has completed for today. Bus riders have been dismissed to the buses and will leave campus around 1:15pm. Bus 618 is not running today. All car riders need to be picked up at the front of the school at this time.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, we will be testing Biology for all students, and English II for selected students. Please remember to be on campus by 7:45, well rested and ready to go! Thank you.
