Good evening, Northeast parents and guardians, here are next week's reminders and events. This week third through fifth grade students will be participating in Multiplication Madness. The third grade students will start tomorrow. The fourth grade students multiplication madness will be Tuesday. Fifth grade multiplication madness with be Wednesday. Thursday, March 28th, the championship round will take place. Each event starts at 1:30. Friday, March 29th, school will be closed. Bus 521 will only operate am tomorrow, March 20th. The driver is required to take a bus driver training class.
VIP Night is tomorrow, 3/19/24. Please come out to see how your child is doing academically and how you can help them finish the last quarter successfully. Reach out to your child's teacher for a time slot between 5:00-7:30. PTA will be hosting dinner and bingo from 5:00-8:00. Also, the blood mobile will be on campus from 1:30-6:30 for blood donations that stay here in our local community to save lives. We hope to see you!

The times that you can sign up can be found on your child's classroom Classdojo page. PTA is also having Bingo Night. You will have the opportunity to purchase pizza and earn prizes. Thursday, March 21st, please join us for the PTA meeting in the Media Center, 6-8. Friday, March 22nd, report cards will go home. Please make sure to review your child's report card. If you have any questions for the teacher, please contact the classroom teacher to set up a conference. Don't forget to view the bus calendar daily to ensure that your child's bus will be operating. This is a reminder that VIP Night will be held on 3/19/24. This is your chance to see how your child is progressing. If you haven't scheduled an appointment, please do so by reaching out to your child's teacher ASAP. There will be a prize for the top homeroom for each grade level. They will have an ice cream sandwich/extra recess party! Also, PTA will be offering dinner and bingo. So come out and learn how your child is doing academically and have an evening of family fun. Good evening Northeast parents, Here are next week's upcoming events and reminders: This is a reminder that progress reports went home on Friday, February 9, please review your child's progress report and call the teacher if there are any questions. Wednesday, February 14th is early dismissal. The students will be dismissed at 12:45. Bus 550 will only operate morning tomorrow, February 12th. Bus 136 will not operate until further notice. This week is bus drivers week, if you get an opportunity, please thank your bus driver for getting your child to and from school safely. Our third, fourth and fifth grade students did an excellent job for ELA Check-ins. They were the top 3 for the district. Our fourth grade students were also one of the top 3 for math. Tomorrow, February 5th, bus 550 will only operate am. This is also a reminder that bus 136 is not running until further notice. Please don't forget the volunteer meeting on February 7th at 3:15. In order to chaperone a field trip, the volunteer orientation must be completed once per school year. This volunteer orientation will be the last one for the 23-24 school year. Please speak with your child about following directions and the rules at school. The behaviors are increasing so we need your help. Friday, February 9th, progress reports will go home. Please review the report with your child and contact their teacher if you have any questions.

This will be the last volunteer meeting for the school year. Upcoming field trips at Northeast: Kindergarten has a trip planned for February 15th. Fifth grade has a trip planned for April 11th and second grade has a trip planned for the 18th. There are several other grade levels that are in the planning process. January 29th-31st, bus 496 will not operate pm. Bus 550 will only operate am. Good evening Northeast parents, Here are the upcoming events and reminders for next week at Northeast Elementary: Parents, we are having a problem with students being in hallways where their class is not on. We are asking you to support us with speaking with your child or children about going straight to their class or breakfast every morning. Students also should not be waiting for their friends to go to breakfast or to finish eating breakfast. We are halfway through the school year and every child should be able to walk to class without a sibling walking with them. We have staff or safety patrol positioned at the beginning of each hall and teachers are positioned at the classroom door. NC-Check-ins start on Tuesday. Please make sure that your child gets plenty of rest and is at school on time. Check-ins will be Tuesday through Thursday. Wednesday, January 24th is an early dismissal day. The students will be dismissed at 12:45. Bus 136 will be operating am only on Wednesday, January 24th. Thursday, January 25th, bus 550 will not be operating. Thank you and have a great week.

Here are the upcoming events and reminders for next week at Northeast Elementary: Please continue to talk with your child about doing their best at school and the SOAR expectations. We can see that it is making a difference. Tomorrow, January 15th, is a holiday. The school will be closed. Thursday, January 18th, bus 550 will not operate. This is also a reminder that the office closes at 2:40 pm so that the office staff can assist with dismissal. The office does not open back up until the traffic has been cleared for car riders. If your child needs to be checked out earlier, it must be done before 2:30 pm. Please know that all walk-up check-outs will have to wait until the office opens back up to have your child called.
